Then the two lovers' wildly shocking behavior sparks the whole band to new heights of glory... and sin...
Angie J's Review:

OK so growing up a child of the 80's there were many a rock stars I crushed on.  Well this book was just that...a dream of meeting and then dating your rock star crush.  I should say that this book is HAWT HAWT HAWT and you better have lots of ice water for some of the scenes....can I say the threesome was hawt and very emotional!!!

I loved how romantic Brian is in this book.  He is such a "heart on his sleeve guy" that it just makes you wanna squeeze his cheeks (face and butt) for being so sweet.  Myrna is a emotionally closed of Professor of Human Sexuality that meets Brian at a hotel bar.    A weekend of fun turned in to a summer job for Myrna and a chance for Brian to prove that they had the staying power for a future together. Can I say I love it when a groupie throws a boot at Myrna for dating Brian!!!  Hilarious!!   I love their easy friendship as well as the building love story....hello the walk on the beach holding hands and teasing each other about the little crab Myrna found OR the grocery store shopping with the whole band.....PRICELESS!!!  I loved how protective the guys are of her and how they each hope for Brian and Myrna to make it because IMO they want the same thing.  Each of the characters in the book have some special quality about them that I found endearing even Sed the womanizing, pig of a man had good qualities.  The end of the novel was what made everything "click" to finish the story.  I don't want to spoiler anything but if the ending sequence didn't happen things could have been different for Myrna.

All in all I loved this book and cant wait to start book 2 as soon as this review is published.  The 3rd installment is out as well.  I will say book 2 is Sed's book and I guess it will clear up why he is such a JACKASS!  Now on to Rock Hard I shall go.....below you will find the amazon links to all 3 books!!!!  The book about Jace will be out in February!!  plenty of time to read up!!

THE RELUCTANT SANTA GIVEAWAY WINNER!!!

THE WINNER IS....................................LISA WILLIAMS

The Reluctant Santa

Book Blurb:

Colin McDermott has one last chance to get Christmas right. Since his mother dropped him off on Christmas Eve never to return, Colin has hated Christmas and sworn never to have children. But this year fate is giving him everything he didn't want. A Santa suit, a child and a chance at love again.

From the Book:

He moved to the side and Brooke felt her mouth fall to the floor.
Oh Damn! Oh Damn! Oh my God, she hadn’t seen that face in years.
There in front of her stood her college sweetheart, the man she'd thought she would marry. The man she’d fallen in love with and dreamed of spending the rest of her life with until that fateful day when he’d rejected her, and unknowingly, the baby she’d carried.
Tall, strikingly handsome, muscular, with a boyish grin and sparkling honey-warm eyes, Colin McDermott grinned at her like she was lunch and he was starving.
***
Colin stared in disbelief at Brooke Warren, the girl who'd dumped him in college. Right before graduation, she’d abruptly stopped seeing him, refused his telephone calls and disappeared from campus. Later, he’d learned she had finished her exams and hadn’t waited on graduation but immediately left town, leaving him bitter and disillusioned.
Shocked, he studied her as the memory of that time seemed to rise from the shadows. Didn't he deserve an explanation? A reason why she'd ended their relationship so abruptly that she couldn't even say good-bye?
Memories of the way her gorgeous red hair had fallen across his shoulders when he’d made love to her flashed through his mind and left him aching.
Yeah, he'd do her again given half the chance. This time, he’d just disengage his heart. Because she'd left his fragile organ bloodied, bruised, and sporting a no admittance sign.
Emerald eyes focused on him in surprise as she held out her hand. All the anger at her disappearance threatened to surface and choke him, but he pushed it down deep. He needed this sale, even if it meant kissing up to the girl who’d lied and said she loved him one moment and played Houdini the next.

Angie E's Review:

This has got to be the SWEETEST holiday book EVER! I LOVE the blast from the past type stories and Colin gets a HUGE blast. Lol. I got so into the story of Brooke, Olivia and Colin I totally forgot that Gabriella and Devon had a story going on as well. I enjoyed how the author took me away and drew me into the story so deep that I forgot about other characters. When Colin finds out about Olivia, I was on pins and needles. BITING NAILS NERVOUS at his reaction. It was an emotional part of the story. I love watching how his relationship with Olivia and Brooke grew. It was touching. I laughed, had a few tears, and smiled a lot during this book. A few time I felt downright HATRED for Devon, but Gabriella was “a breathe of fresh air”. When Colin learned of his past was probably one of the most emotional parts (HAVE TISSUES HANDY). The SPARK between Colin and Brooke is undeniable after all these years and Sylvia can write one HECK OF A LOVE SCENE *fans self* .

Can they overcome the malicious chatter long enough to explore the emotion bubbling beneath the surface? Or will lust fall flat and leave them nothing but memories of the moment that slipped away?

Angie E's Reivew:

This book is SOOOOO FREAKIN HOT!!!! OMG LIZ CROWE!!!! I was skeptical to read seriously NO CLUE WHY, but at the persistence of my partner and crime Angie J, I finally read it and WOWSA (don’t tell her she‘s right, her head will swell). I’m officially hooked on Liz Crowe !!!! That Sean Garrison made me all tingly just reading his wicked ways with the ladies. I must give credit to Jennifer Baxter for holding out as long as she did. SERIOUSLY….I couldn’t have done it. The way Liz writes a sex scene or a make out scene is INCREDIBLE…. She is so detailed she draws the reader in as if they are experiencing the scene themselves. Her flair for the details helps set the mood for the imagination to take hold in the book. It’s as if you are THERE. I loved it. The story was great, it had just enough mystery that kept me constantly trying to figure out the the WHO’s and WHY’s. I can’t wait to read the rest of her books !

Cassandra by Starlight by Susan Mac Nicol

Cassandra by Starlight
Book Blurb:
Unconventional though she may be, Cassandra Wallace leads the life of an average Londoner, from blind dates to rush hour traffic. Then, along comes Bennett Saville. Sensitive, charming, erudite, the up-and-coming actor is like the hero of a romantic movie. He counteracts the tragedy that brought them together, and from the tips of his Armani loafers to that scorching hot kiss he seems absolutely perfect. Only, he’s ten years younger and from the upper class, and those emerald eyes beget dangerous secrets. The world is a stage, full of hungry leading ladies, and how long can any fairy tale last before a villain appears? Yet, on Bennett’s arm each new day is an adventure, and a true romance will always find its happy ending
Angie J's Review:
I received a copy of this book from the author to give a true and honest review of what I liked about the book.  I want to start by saying I feel that being an American I might have missed a few of the "funny" parts of the book because I don't know some of the teasing that is used in regards to the area.  I did enjoy the novel and liked the fact that these too people fell in love because of a tragic circumstance.
The characters: Bennett and Cassie are both very strong willed and independent individuals. They both have overcome sad childhoods but didn't let it break their spirits like some people would.  I found Bella and Edward to be awful people and was glad when they weren't in the book.  I did love Vince and Ian.  They were very important characters in the novel for figuring out the stalker issue with Bennett. I also felt that Alec and Dylan were good for some humor and laughs in the novel.
What I enjoyed:  I loved seeing the characters develop their relationship and see a realistic approach to dating someone famous.  The fears Cassie had were fears I would have had as well.  I would have always compared myself to other people Bennett had dated and wondered "why is he with me?"  I loved the dynamic that these characters had with their friends who were more like their family.  They would fight and make up like we do in real life.  I also liked the jumping through time to see that their relationships are all thriving.
What  I would have liked to see different: maybe a little more consistent sub plotting throughout the book.  I felt like each sub plot was created, dealt with and then solved....repeat and rinse.  Its not saying I didn't enjoy the sub plots but it seemed we just kept having so many sub plots I got a little bit tired of them.  I wish there would have just been the stalker, Bella drama, and maybe Bennett's mother sickness.
All in all I did enjoy the book and if their was another book written about this couple I would certainly read it.  The author has left many things undone so another book could be possible.
